Most therapies have some contraindications, so please check with your therapist/doctor before making an appointment.

Information on the website is for guidance only – they do not form a diagnosis and are not intended as a substitute for advice from your physician/healthcare professional.  While there are some doctors that still do have a negative opinion about alternative treatments, such as Bates Method/Natural Vision Improvement and acupuncture, most are open to the treatments.

If you have a medical condition that has not responded to conventional treatment, it is important for you to make sure your doctor does not have a medical reason for advising you against acupuncture, or any other therapy.  If the reason is not medical, and you still wish to try, then the decision is up to you.
